Hyperthermia, as known until now, uses overheating to 40–44°C in the area of the tumor; usually externally, using microwaves, radio waves oder ultrasound.
Ultrathermia, on the other hand, works with temperatures above 75°C in the target area.
For this purpose, over several years, a heatable microdosage syringe was developed, along with the matching Ultra thermal Unit - UTU.
Originally, the Ultrathermia unit was intended only for the production of a biological filler in the augmentation of wrinkles – plasma(vita)gel. Over the course of many years, however, numerous other application possibilities became evident. Because when different temperatures are applied by means of a heated NaCl solution, apart from denaturization effects on target organs (sweat gland reduction, varices sclerotherapy, epilation of hair, cyst agglutination), a minimization of lipomas (adipose tumors), sebaceous glands and viral loads (wart treatment) can be observed, as well as the calming of nerve impulses.
