Aptos Light Lift
The process of facial aging is manifested as uneven ptosis of the skin and subcutaneous
tissues located above and lateral to the nasolabial fold and the superciliary, buccal, mental,
and submental areas. For various reasons, gravitational sagging of soft tissue occurs, with
the resulting appearance of overhanging eyebrows, lachrymal grooves, deepening
nasolabial folds, and the beginning of marionette lines, followed by aggravation and ptosis
of the angle of the mouth and mental areas becoming more pronounced "hanging lips".
For a long time these deformities were corrected only by radical interventions We decided to develop a method of tissue extension in which the flap extends evenly along the whole length. At the same time injury inflicted to tissues being minimal.
In 1998 we designed needleless thread with converging barbs, which was introduced under the skin by means of a guiding needle. Initially, we used this technique on virtually all portions of the face and neck. During long-term practice, however, we concluded that the appropriate use of this method was only for creation of a high contour of the midface soft tissues and lifting of the mental area at young patients.
In 2002 we invent new suture material which differed from the first generation by the presence of two needles to the ends of which were attached one thread provided with converging barbs — Light Lift Thread 2G. An important novelty herein was that these threads were coupled by temporary connection so that in this position it has one point.
In the course of accumulation of experience in 2005 we have been invented new product
unites the capabilities of Light Lift Thread 2G and the Aptos Needle (surgical material
demanding little incision) - The Light Lift Needle 2G. It make up one thread with
(variously)B-directed barbs converging toward the middle and two needles, which are
double-pointed and coupled together (from one side) and the thread is connected to them in
the middle portion. This design makes it possible to insert both needles under the skin
through one puncture and to separate them at the required depth.
Lifting of soft tissues herein is more powerful and stable at the expense of subcutaneous
turns of the needle and advancing the barbed thread along the contour of the "pouch" or a
hook without disturbing the integrity of bulges and dimpling of the skin.
All the above-described types of thread-mediated lifting are rigid. On the areas of the face that are especially active (for example, mimic, masticatory, and other muscles in the perioral area), lifting with barbed threads is unsuitable because constant tissue movement rapidly destroys the result. For correction of involutive alterations in the perioral area we therefore used the Light Lift Spring method. This is a spring form thread made according to a special technology from special shape-memory.
Many doctors have still been placing barbed threads using an outdated technique that requires incisions and visualization of solid structures (for example, temporal fascia) to which threads are sewn. With the advent of coupled needles provided with threads and the respective technology (methods using Aptos Thread 2G and Aptos Needle 2G), there is no need for skin incisions, and the operations are thus considerably simplified with no damage for the future result.
LIGHT LIFT THREAD 2G
Method possibilities: Correction of eyebrows, sulcus lacrimal, nasolabial
folds, correction of mental and sub-mental areas, correction of jowlanes.
LIGHT LIFT 2G -The Thread with microscopically ledges is connected by the both sides to the needles which are coupled with temporal connection. The originality of the double needle is that in coupled condition it has one point. Such a needle after the sticking it into the required depth divides into two, each of which then is provided in hypodermic tissues with its own thread in the opposite directions.
This makes possible to drown the excess of the Light Lift Thread 2G in its average part without retraction the skin in a place of injection. Lifting with such Thread is strong, stable and long lasting, and the main is that it doesn’t needs to cut the skin. This method is easy in execution, safe, don’t leave trace, and also no traumatic.
LIGHT LIFT NEEDLE 2G
Method possibilities: This product is applied practically on the all areas of the
face, both to moving tissues and for creation of high contours. The universal
product that gives ample opportunities in struggle against gravitational ptosis.
LIGHT LIFT NEEDLE 2G unites the capabilities of Aptos Thread 2G and the method Aptos Needle.
LIGHT LIFT NEEDLE 2G make up one thread with variously directed barbs converging toward the middle and two needles. These needles are doublepointed and tips are fastened together on one side with temporal connection and the thread is connected to them in the middle portion.
Lifting of soft tissues herein is more powerful and stable at the expense of subcutaneous turns of the needle and advancing the barbed thread along the contour of the ‘‘pouch’’ or a hook without retraction of the skin. Owing to the original idea of coupling two needles, the operations can be done without incision.
LIGHT LIFT SPRING
Method possibilities: It allows to lift the lowered labial corners and to
remove so-called «Marionette lines»
This ingenious suture material in the form of small springs is implanted subcutaneously into the required facial area with the help of an ordinary injection needle and solves the problem of lowered corners of the lips, removes so-called wrinkles of mourning.
Such thread is called Light Lift Spring and makes it possible to shift upwards the above-mentioned soft tissue areas, simultaneously participating in contraction and relaxation of the mimic muscles without disfiguring the facial expression.
This procedure takes 15 minutes and solves the problem of mourning, gloomy look.
